This will be already the seventh meeting organized by our Institute. The organization of this symposium is an answer to an increasing interest in the subject of Orphism along with its various aspects and manifestations in many areas of ancient culture, especially in light of the recent findings in the field of papyrology. Our intention is to enable the specialists in different fields to meet and discuss over these fascinating issues, so papers concerning every possible aspect of Orphism will be welcome.

The previous editions united the research of Polish and foreign classical philologists, historians, philosophers, educationists, sociologists and biblists, demonstrating the broadness and multilayerness of Orphism.

Conference fee is 650 PLN (180 €) and should be paid during the conference. The fee includes full accommodation in the area of the Palace complex in Nieborow.

We would like you to deliver the finished versions of your papers in written and electronic form to the Organizers during the conference, so that they could be published before the end of 2015 in an academic online journal ‘Littera Antiqua’ (www.litant.eu).
