The IPS Symposium welcomes submissions of long abstracts, between 800 and 1200 words. No identifying information should appear within the abstract itself, in order to ensure the impartiality of the double-blind review committee. Abstracts will be considered in all the five official languages of IPS (english, français, italiano, español, deutsch).
The online submission system is currently being prepared and it will be ready to accept submissions between June 15 and September 2, 2015. If you intend to make a submission, please make sure that your IPS dues are paid for 2013-16 at least a week before making your submission. If you are unsure whether you are a member in good standing, check the status of your account at www.platosociety.org or send an e-mail to web@platosociety.org.
Submissions will be evaluated by IPS Executive Committee through double-blind review system. No preference will be given on the basis of race, gender, nationality, ethnicity, institutional affiliation, or other demographic factors. Abstracts will be judged based solely on the following criteria:
Academic rigor
Relevance to the Symposium theme (Phaedo)
Originality
Clarity and coherence
Conference registration: US$ 160 + 19% taxes = US$ 192.00
