Aegean Scripts. 14th Mycenological Colloquium - 02-03-04-05-06/09/2015, København (Denmark)
We are delighted to announce that the colloquium dates and the venue in Copenhagen have now been decided for the Aegean Scripts. 14th Mycenological Colloquium convened by Hedvig Landenius Enegren and Marie-Louise Nosch. The venue will be the Carlsberg Academy, once the private home of the beer brewer J.C. Jacobsen and will take place on Sept 2-6 2015 (arrival 1 Sept. –departure 6 Sept. evening).
The number of speakers will be limited, and priority will be given to papers that present new inscriptions or new editions. In addition, a session will be dedicated to precise comparative studies between Aegean scripts and Near Eastern material. The conference proceedings will be published in the volume H. Landenius Enegren, H. Hallager and M.-L. Nosch (eds), Aegean Scripts Proceedings of the 14th Mycenological Colloquium 2-6 September, Copenhagen 2015 with Oxbow Books in 2016. The program will also contain a CIPEM meeting and meetings with the Comité des signes du linéaire Band the Comité pour les éditions et les instruments de travail.
