The first session of the 2015/16 Edinburgh Postgraduate Classics Seminar Series will begin on Thursday the 24th of September and will continue until December. Postgraduate students (both at Masters and PhD level) from Edinburgh and other universities are invited to submit proposals for papers of approximately 30-40 minutes or joint panels of two 20-minute papers on a subject of their choosing. Papers are expected to be held on Thursdays at 5.10 pm and will be attended by a friendly audience, mostly composed of postgraduate students. If you are interested in speaking, please contact us at ediclassicspgrep@gmail.com no later than SEPTEMBER 14 with a topic and provisional title. If accepted we will require a firm title and abstract a week before your presentation. We hope that many of you will take advantage of this opportunity to meet other young academics and present your research in a friendly environment.
