We are pleased to invite proposals for papers. The abstracts of no more than 200 words should be sent to Łukasz Niesiołowski-Spanò l.niesiolowski@uw.edu.pl no later than 30 May 2016. Confirmed keynote speakers: Jan Paul Crielaard (VU University Amsterdam), Gunnel Ekroth (Uppsala Universitet), Alexander Fantalkin (Tel Aviv University), Antonis Kotsonas (University of Cincinnati), and Aren Maeir (Bar-Ilan University). The broadly defined aim of this conference – combining the import of archaeological, historical, and linguistic studies in the field – is to offer a fresh and multidisciplinary reassessment of the relationships between The Aegean and the Levant ca. 1300-900 BCE, i.e. in the period of when a series of decisive historical transformations in the Eastern Mediterranean took place.
