God and the gods in Late antiquity – where next? - 11/07/2016, St. Andrews (Scotland)
The workshop will emphasise ‘work’; it is intended as a platform to discuss the ways forward in the study of Late Antique religions and religiosities, to exchange views, and to identify challenges. Speakers and attendees are invited to connect their papers with broader themes, as well as the directions they envision the field potentially heading towards. It is hoped that the July 2016 workshop will not only act as an inspiring catalyst and an arena for exchanging ideas and views, but also as a possible base upon which we are able to expand in the future, potentially in the form of an international conference. We are aiming for an interdisciplinary set of speakers and attendees.
