Think Ontologically: An Introduction to the Use of Ontologies in Archaeology and Digital Humanities

Think ontologically: An Introduction to the use of Ontologies in Archaeology and Digital Humanities" will take place at the University of Leicester. This activity, funded by Midlands3Cities Doctoral Training Partnership and organized in collaboration by the College of Social Sciences, Art and Humanities, the School of Archaeology and Ancient History and the Department of Informatics, aims to provide this training to students from all six universities of the M3C DTP and enable them to network with academics using ontological databases. This training course will not only benefit anyone who requires the use of Information Science Ontology in their PhD research, but also enhance their post-PhD career prospects while getting involved with people working in current research networks. The activity has been thought to create an environment where social networking can happen among participants, the trainer and speakers.
