Working with Cultural Objects and Manuscripts: Provenance, Legality, and Responsible Stewardship -05
The programme includes the following keynote speakers: Neil Brodie (University of Oxford), Patty Gerstenblith (DePaul University), Christopher Rollston (George Washington University), and Magnus Olofsson (Swedish National Heritage Board & Vasa Museum), as well as case presentations by Nordic researchers and professionals on working with cultural objects from the three perspective of museums, government agencies, and academia. The symposium will be concluded by a roundtable discussion to highlight the key issues during the symposium and to identify areas where more work within Finland is still necessary.
