CALL:
Following the first three successful meetings at the British Museum and last year at the University Library in Cambridge, the British Library is now pleased to host the Fourth Papyrus Curatorial and Conservation Meeting. The meeting will take place 21–22 June 2018 at the British Library Centre for Conservation. We are inviting proposals for individual papers of 20 minutes or short communications of 10 minutes on subjects related to
· Conservation and Preservation
· Cataloguing
· Digitisation
· Ongoing and Completed Projects
· Funding Opportunities
Please submit your proposals of no more than 100 words in email to papyrusmeeting.proposals2018@gmail.com by 15 February 2018. Successful submissions will be announced soon theraefter with a full program to follow.
Limited travel bursaries are available for UK delegates who would otherwise face financial barriers to attending, as part of the British Museum’s national knowledge-sharing programmes generously supported by the Vivmar Foundation.
