After San Antonio (2016) and Boston (2017), this session is the third to present papers that engage with the topic of Israel's Exodus from a wide variety of perspectives – the exegesis of the exodus narrative, the perception of the exodus in later traditions, the significance of the exodus for cultural and historical identities, questions of historicity and the public use and abuse of the exodus, the history and interpretation of literary motifs and themes relevant to the exodus, scientific and digital media studies engaging with the topic.
