Call for papers

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (500-700 words, better if combined with a shorter abstract) in English as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file prepared forblind review. Please, provide also information about your affiliation and contact details in a separate file. All that should be submitted to socratica.iv@websocratica.com.

Deadline for submissions of proposals: May 31, 2018. Presentations should be conducted in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German or Portuguese.

In view of this conference, the possibility to establish a learned society named as above (or otherwise) is being considered. The leading idea is that between theareas covered by the IAPS and the IPS there is a considerable gap. So, why not to do something in order to ensure that an extremely fertile season of Greek thought becomes the subject of regular meetings comparable to those on the Presocratics and Plato?

Participants are therefore cordially invited to evaluate this option and start exchanges, or even drafts, about it. Indeed, to circulate them in advance would becertainly helpful.
