La Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y la Universidad de Chile tienen el agrado de invitar al Primer Congreso Internacional de Estudios Agustinianos con sede en Santiago durante el 22 y 23 de noviembre de 2018. La actividad estará centrada en la filosofía y teología de San Agustín y contará con distinguidos académicos nacionales e internacionales.
El congreso pretende reunir a distintos estudiosos del pensamiento del Obispo de Hipona para dialogar y discutir en torno a su filosofía y contribuir a la comunicación e integración de académicos dedicados a estudios medievales y patrísticos.
La actividad es organizada por estudiantes de postgrado de las universidades mencionadas. Además cuenta con el patrocinio de la Universidad de los Andes, la Biblioteca Agustiniana de Buenos Aires, el Centro de Estudios Medievales y la Orden de los Agustinos de Chile.
Se recibirán resúmenes hasta el 22 de octubre del presente año. Las temáticas para las ponencias deben tratar sobre temas relacionados con la filosofía y teología del Santo; ya sea filosofía del lenguaje, metafísica, estética, filosofía de la historia, corporalidad, ontología, etc. Se dispondrá de 20 o 30 minutos de exposición según lo estime el comité y 10 minutos para preguntas. Las ponencias pueden ser presentadas en español, portugués, inglés o francés.
Quienes postulen deben enviar un resumen al correo congresoagustiniano@gmail.com de máximo 500 palabras, junto con cinco palabras claves y a bibliografía. Lo resúmenes deben ser enviados en formato .docx o .doc. Los aspectos formales: se debe escribir en Times New Roman 12 o Arial; interlineado 1,5; margen justificado. The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and the University of Chile have the privilege to welcome you to the First International Congress of Augustinian studies to be held in Santiago from the 22nd to 23rd of November, 2018. The activity will focus on the philosophy, of Saint Augustine and his influence in contemporary philosophers, and feature with national and international distinguished scholars.
The congress intends to reunite erudites of the Hippo´s bishop to talk, and discuss about his philosophy, and to contribute to the communication and integration of scholars dedicated to medieval studies and patistrics.
The activity is organized by postgraduated students from the universities mentioned above. It also counts with the sponsorship of University of the Andes, Augustinian Library of Buenos Aires, The Center of Medieval Studies.
Sumaries will be recieved until the 22nd of October of 2018. The thematic for the expositions must be about themes related to the philosophy, the theology of the saint or his connection with contemporary philosophy. Each presentation will have 20 to 30 minutes, according to the committee’s decision, and ten minutes to answer questions. The expositions can be presented in Spanish, Portuguese or English.
