The Meals in the HB/OT and its World unit will host two sessions in 2019. One session will be co-hosted with the Ancient Near Eastern Iconography and the Bible unit and welcomes papers devoted to the topic of feasting in iconographical (particularly Levantine) perspective, especially "Feasting with the Dead." This session will be a combination of invited papers and selected papers that are submitted for consideration on this theme. The second session will be open to any topic related to meals in Hebrew Bible and their context.
