Classics Postgraduates at the University of Leeds are delighted to be hosting the Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient Literature 2019. The conference will be held at Devonshire Hall and on the main University of Leeds campus on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th June 2019.

We are delighted to announce that Natalie Haynes, the broadcaster, comedian, author and champion of Classics, will be delivering the keynote paper on the topic of: Women and the Narratives of Power in the Trojan War. Natalie’s talk will take place at 6pm on Thursday 13th June 2019.


The keynote paper is free and open to all, and we would encourage local schools to attend. The talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
