The Annual Meetings on Christian Origins wish to provide a space for scientific debate on the historical Jesus, the history of the early groups of Jesus’ followers, and the interpretation of early Christian writings, as well as other cognate fields of inquiry. The meetings take the form of “Programme Units” coordinated by specialists and young researchers. Papers are expected to cover a wide range of perspectives: history, exegesis, archaeology, papyrology, epigraphy, anthropology of religions, comparative studies, social sciences, cultural studies, and so on.
