International Colloquium "Constructing Eurykleia’s Database: Antiquity and Digital Classics&quo
This Colloquium is one of the instalments of the international research project Eurykleia, celles qui avaient un nom (https://eurykleia.hypotheses.org/), which develops an online database on ancient women identified throughout the Mediterranean from the 8th century BCE to the 5th century EC. It is also supported by a PICS-CNRS (PICS-ANGAN). The main objective of this database is to make available as much pieces of evidence as possible (manuscript texts, papyrus, inscriptions under various media) in which women are named. The international team aims to provide a powerful research tool for scholars and students around the world.
