P.J. Rhodes was Professor of Ancient History (1983-2005) in Durham and since then has been Honorary and Emeritus Professor. He is the author of a monumental work, which has been and will continue to be a major reference to scholars around the world. His principal area of scholarly production is ancient Greek history, especially politics (both political institutions and political activity), and the sources for ancient history (literary and epigraphic). We invite junior and established scholars to join this celebration, by submitting a proposal on a topic that interrelates in any way with P.J. Rhodes’s work
