Lost amongst the waves – the challenge of recording and preserving Crete’s coastal heritage’ is a two-day event that is being organised by the Institute of Mediterranean Studies, Rethymno, to discuss some of the new approaches and developments in coastal archaeology and how new digital technologies are helping in mapping, surveying and recording the coastal landscape and the sites and monuments that lie both on land and underwater off shore around the island.
