XVII. Internationales Hippokrateskolloquium: Das Corpus Hippocraticum – Einheit in der Vielfalt? - 1
The XVIIth International Hippocrates Colloquium aims to provide a forum for a first open dialogue between “unitarians” and “non-unitarians” among Hippocrates scholars. The “unitarians” are invited to examine the common historical and philological roots of the various Hippocrates writings. Examples might be oral traditions that were written down by various authors, parallel passages that can be traced in various treatises and a network of philological interdependencies throughout the Corpus. The “non-unitarians”, in turn, might explain the relationships of Hippocratic writings with treatises outside the Corpus.
